Project 6 Write a report on IP security protocol (IPsec), including the two modes of operation, transport and tunnel modes, its three protocols, the Internet Key Exchange (IKEv2), Authentication header (AH) and encapsulating security payload (ESP). Project 7 Configure IPsec on at least two different operating systems and write a report about that. Project 8 Write a report on encryption mechanisms over the Internet, including symmetric and two-key algorithms, current standard and an example of software implementation for Advanced Encryption System (AES). Project 9 Write a report on integrity protection over the Internet, Hash algorithms, how they can be used for non-repudiation (digital signatures) as well as encryption key generation. Project 10 Describe and compare the following three cyber security frameworks, CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), PAIN (Privacy, Availability, Integrity, Non-repudiation) and ITU X.805.
