Fix issues with website/SEO optimise/add new booking & payment system

BACKGROUND Alternatif Property are a small property agency based in Kalkan, in southern Turkey. We have two main parts to our business, of which rentals (holiday homes) is one, therefore it is a very important part of our business. We are currently responsible for rentals into over 50 properties in and around the Kalkan area. The Alternatif Rentals website was built specifically for us by a company which no longer exists, just under a year ago. Since then, we have experienced problems with using the site (e.g. loading photos and new script on, changing prices etc) also with the admin panel. We asked for the site to be fully SEO optimised, and we don’t believe this was done. In addition, as our business needs have changed, we are now looking to add a complete booking & payment system to the site. PLEASE READ THIS BRIEF CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING! WE WILL ONLY SHORT LIST FREELANCERS WHO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY HAVE A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE PROJECT OVERVIEW OF WORK REQUIRED Site fixes There are a number of fixes which need to be completed. These include resolving issues with loading on photos and new text, changing prices, social media icons not hyperlinked, & changing of set input parameters for properties. A full list of these fixes will be provided. Admin Panel The admin panel for the site was built so as NOT to allow us to have complete control over the site – we need this changed, so that we will be able to go onto any part of the website and make changes. For example, the location map and contact details are incorrect currently, and we are not able to change these SEO optimisation The purpose of setting up this website was to allow us to draw away from the main online holiday rental portals, by optimising the site so that it then appears towards the top of relevant searches. This does not appear to have been done. We need to ensure that the site is fully optimised, and to understand the implications of this. Also possibly advice on paying to go higher on google search results New booking and payment system We want to integrate a new booking and payment system onto the website. Currently, we only have an availability calendar, which has to be updated manually. This new system will also allow us to synch our calendar with our other online adverts. The system we want to add on is called PIMS – see link to their website below. We have checked with them that it should be possible to add this system on [login to view URL] PROPOSAL DOCUMENT Once freelancers have been short-listed, we will require each of them to provide a proposal document, outlining the work and the timescales required. This document must demonstrate that you have fully understood the requirements of the project ONGOING SUPPORT The successful freelancer will be invited to provide costings for ongoing support for the website. Contact re this is likely to be occasional, as and where needed, or where we are experiencing problems/issues. Please bear this in mind if you do provide a costing. Also, we will be looking specifically for freelancers with a good, continued track record (it’s of no use to us if someone quotes to provide support for the site, and then disappears!)
