We have a SQL database/Applicant Tracking System, called "PCR" or "PC Recruiter". At times, we send out a high number of e-mails. Often, e-mail addresses are incorrect or outdated and we get lots of 'undeliverable' messages. We need these records to be updated by: 1.) Taking out the e-mail address from the e-mail field. 2.) Making a note of that incorrect e-mail address somewhere else in PCR (e.g. in the ‘Notes’ section – “Undeliverable: ”). 3.) Make a note in the e-mail field, e.g. “_e-mail to be researched” In the alternative, a note stating “_e-mail incorrect: ” would also be sufficient, indeed, this would even be preferred. The basis for the undeliverable e-mails could be an Excel spreadsheet which we can easily create (by pulling the addresses from Outlook’s undeliverable messages).
