I am a technical business analyst with 15 years professional experience working with Access, Excel, VBA (macros), and SQL.
In addition to expert level technical skills, I have an extensive background in stock control and budgeting solutions (5+ years experience as a retail planner, and degree qualified in finance). Some of my past projects have included:
1. Creation of buy-plan templates in Excel and Access for a nation wide retailer to manage seasonal purchases against stock holding budgets, and range performance against revenue and COGS / margin budgets (and both against established targets for stock turn)
2. Creation of a full financial budgeting suite in Excel and Access for one of Australia's largest multi-sport organisations. This included pulling in historical data directly from the accounting package
3. Establishing a centralised warehouse for inventory for a not for profit with seven retail outlets, including systems for managing stock receipt, transfer, and return, and stock-take
4. Full financial reporting suite managing each revenue / expense line against budget
