Mobile App to include integration with Facial Recognition API

Summary The purpose of the app is to allow users to conduct basic background checks on potential hires within the blue collar labor space in Africa. Categories of blue collar hirers include Domestic help, personal drivers, gardeners, lesson teachers, washmen, mechanics etc. Problem Definition Hiring decisions for the cadre of staff that have the closest access to one's family is today done with limited information on the potential hire. Methods available for background checks today in developing countries without central identification systems are open to inaccurate representation of potential hires. In view of this, there seem to be a need for a system that allows for bio-data sharing among employers of such labor. The intent is through crowd sourcing to create a database of available individuals in the domestic labor space for the purpose of  1. Background checks 2. Creating history of employment 3. Employee review/ratings ***** Solution Create a pilot mobile app that will allow employers of blue collar labor to  1. Capture bio-data of current hire including pictures of domestic staff. Picture gallery of the domestic staff will be associated with bio-data information of the contractor/domestic staff, which in turn will be associated with the employer's app profile information.  2. App will allow users to rate their contractors/domestic staff at any point in time  3. App will allow users to upload images and select any newly uploaded image for the purpose of searching the database of domestic staff for possible matches. To achieve this App will integrate facial recognition API ([login to view URL]) to facilitate search of database for images matching a subject image. 4. App will also allow search on all bio-data fields in addition to images. 5. App will be able to link identified subject to work history  6.
