Timing analysis/ attacks on NewHope implementation

Needed Skills: good experience with timing attacks/ C programming Preferred Skills: knowledge about the newhope key exchange algorithm NewHope is a post-quantum key echange mechanism. The implementation is written in C and targets the ARM cortex M4 processors: [login to view URL] The task is analyse the implementation for point of view: timing, and try to do/find some side-channel (timing) attacks. If timing attacks are found, then a protected implementation should be implemented. The timing analysis, the timing attacks and the eventuell protected implementation should be well documented, discussed and explained later with the employer.
