To tackle your project, I will employ Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to investigate several research questions related to End-of-Course Program Examination test scores in high-poverty and low-poverty high schools before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as their association with ethnicity and gender. After preparing the necessary data, I will formulate hypotheses for each research question and conduct separate one-way ANOVA tests to assess whether significant differences exist among the groups of interest. If significant differences are detected, post hoc tests will be employed to identify specific group differences. The results, including F-statistics, p-values, and any relevant effect size measures, will be interpreted, and detailed summaries will be provided in the report. Additionally, the output results from the ANOVA analyses will be saved and presented in Chapter 4 of the report for comprehensive reporting and further analysis. This approach will enable a thorough examination of how the pandemic, school type, ethnicity, and gender relate to test scores, providing valuable insights for educational research and policy.
