I have been in the transcription business for over 30 years, first as a Certified Paralegal, then a Certified Court Reporter for 17 years and since doing medical, legal, dissertations, theses, religious and all other types of transcription, including Senior Quality Assurance for a large online transcription company for many years now. From the sound of it, I absolutely *love* your project and - your lucky day, my friend! - for the past 2 years I have been transcribing *exactly* the sort of hypnosis sessions you describe for a prominent psychologist/hypnotist in this field who is using these transcripts to train others to do this work in his trauma-related subspecialty - fascinating and rewarding work! Born, bred, educated and living in the U.S., we will not have a problem with communication. Especially as a court reporter as well as in the above client's work, some of the content is challenging because of the traumatic subject matter. But I can, do and will deliver to you transcripts that are close to 100% with only questionable areas and/or spellings to be resolved in the main, assuming the recordings are of good quality. Since I am a new Freelance provider, I am offering you a significant discount in hopes of building my reputation here. Thus, my bid is for $125 to transcribe these 3 tracks for a total of 90 minutes. This breaks down to $1.25 per audio minute (or any part thereof) and FL's fee with a maximum 3-day turnaround time (and probably much less). I realize my prices may be somewhat higher than other bids, but it is worth it to you to receive transcription that isn't a "rough draft" requiring hours of your time to correct. I only accept one FL project at a time, so your work will have my undivided time, attention and focus until completed. I guarantee your satisfaction. Hi, I have 10+ years of experience in video and audio transcription. So far, I've transcribed general, business, medical and legal files, one on one interviews and group discussions. Moreover, I'm very efficient, highly motivated, detail oriented and deadline driven professional. My knowledge of English grammar, spelling and vocabulary is proficient. I also have experience with the American, British, Canadian and Australian accent. I posses all the proper equipment: foot pedal, transcription software (I use Express Scribe), headset and Microsoft Word 2003. I have a 100% typing accuracy and a speed of 90+ wpm. Hello, I'm an experienced social researcher who regularly conducts and transcribes in-depth interviews. The interviews I transcribe are often tricky due to their setting (noisy youth clubs, prisons, busy homes) or their nature (six teenagers talking about alcohol all at once!)so I understand the nature of the task. As a researcher I often conduct analysis of interviews so I also understand the importance of ensuring that dialogue is recorded precisely and other significant verbal cues are recorded (a laugh can mean a lot) to get the most out of the interview as possible.
