Hi. I am a native German living in the UK since 97. I am an in the UK qualified language teacher (PGCE) with Business Studies as my first degree. I taught German in secondary school and tutor pupils and adult learners. I do not yet have experience with on-line teaching. The usual fee per teaching hour in the UK is £20-22 ($31-34) (private or college). The given fee (bid) is already reduced. I am not available between 25th July and 11th August. Kind regards Angela

Hello. I offer English lessons online (Skype), for all levels of learner (CEFR A1 to C2) and for any purpose. I have expertise in grammar, syntax, pronunciation and exam preparation (IELTS, CAE, etc.). I also offer conversation classes and ESP - business, academic, travel, etc. I am a native English speaker, living in Britain. I am a sympathetic and patient mentor and will always adapt my approach to the learner's needs. I have been teaching learners in Russia, Brazil and many other countries for over six years, so I am well aware of particular areas of usage, idiom and pronunciation that many find difficult. For spoken English, I teach a neutral, dialect-free English. I also help the learner to understand common variants. For written English, I can teach either Standard British (International) English or Standard American English. British English is, of course, the official standard of the UN, the EU, WHO, Commonwealth and many other organisations. I have a detailed knowledge of both standards. In my editing work, I do conversions between the two standards for businesses operating globally. If learners don't have a preference, I advise lessons of 45 minutes. This often suits busy business-based learners and helps with retention. I'm open to longer lessons by arrangement.
