I'll be glad to record your historical books from the 19th century. I charge $250 PFH (per finished hour). If the recording lasts 2 hours, for example, the cost would be $500. As an American raised in England, I do both US and UK accents that are authentic and natural. I record, proof, edit, and master my audio to industry (or your) standards. My bid works out to be about $180.00 per finished hour (PFH) of audio, which is 10% below the standard rate of $200 PFH for audiobook production (don't forget Freelancer charges me a fee). I have several audiobooks available in Audible, so I will produce to ACX/Audible standards Please note: It takes about 6 hours of recording & editing to produce 1 finished hour of audio. 120,000 words, read at a rate of 3 words per second = a little over 11 finished hours of recorded audio, or 66 hours of work to produce.
