Update / upgrade website

I am a project coordinator for Partner, Liam Hennessy for a national Australian law firm. Liam runs a 'personal' blog where he posts financial services regulatory updates weekly. It is mainly to keep our current clients (corporations, insurance companies, banking etc.) up to date with the rapidly changing Australian financial regulatory space. You can find the website here: [login to view URL] We are looking to hire a freelancer to update the website to make it more accessible and aesthetic. Our view is to use the website not only to help provide free information to clients, but also use it to bait potential clients. In this, we have considered the key features and updates required in order to do this are as follows: - Complete revamp of the website formatting and aesthetic. Clearly, the dark background and white text is the first to go. We are looking for a format that makes the weekly posts more accessible to the user. This is likely to include pictures, title of the post, a brief summary or snippet of the post, and a "read more" button. This should be fitted on to the home page in a way that is on the page in a 3x3 fashion, rather than a long list of script that you have to scroll all the way down the page to view other options. - Develop a search function that allows clients to access the information that is relevant to them by defined categories. This will require further information for discussion as currently we have seen other websites categorise by Australia's financial regulators (generally ASIC, APRA, Treasury etc.). However, this may result in Liam having to change the structure/format of his posts. We are aware of this and are happy to work with the freelancer in order to make this possible. - Include a "Resources Page" that hosts PDF articles etc. available for clients/visitors to download for free. These will be general in nature for procedural issues that we deal with on a regular basis. - Include a subscription banner on the home page that takes the viewer to a subscription page to sign them up to the weekly updates and/or our other regular updates that the firm offers. - Upgrade the page dedicated to Liam and his experience, perhaps changing the name from "About Liam Hennessy" to something along the lines of "Services offered" etc. This will involve making his contact details and social media platforms more visible and accessible to viewers. Further, we are looking to expand this page to also list services that the firm can assist with (so that it is more extensive and not limited to Liam's experience). We are aware that a lot of these changes will involve reorganising the website and perhaps changing the delivery of our content. We are open to discussing these ideas and changing our approach given the above can be done. The only request that Liam has for all this to be completed is that the website remains accessible while this is going on and there are no interruptions to his weekly posts or anything that prevents people from viewing his updates. Our goal is to have this completed by 24 December 2022 before the yearly closing period. If you believe you have the requisite skills and experience to assist with the above, please reach out to me.
