Do you want to setup VPN with Certificates from an Internal or Public CA? If you want to setup VPN for specific domain joined machines, Internal CA would be cost effective and user-friendly as we can deploy Certificates to Clients for authentication. However, for open VPN to allow any Client to connect with Username/Password, we will need a Cert on the VPN Server from a public CA. This is to avoid additional configuration on the Clients. I can assist setting up Ikev2 /SSTP / PPTP VPN on Windows Server with certificate based authentication. Can also assist to configure VPN profile on Windows clients to connect to the RRAS server which would act as VPN server. Ensure you allow UDP 500 and 4500 to RRAS server from the Internet if you want VPN over Ikev2. Also, we could use an Network policy server (NPS) to authenticate the user / machine against Active directory. 5+ years of IT experience.
