IMPROVE MY DATABASE WEBSITE

I started a website as a hobby. It is a database of locations in my country (in Africa) and my intention is, like a blog, to keep adding these locations and places to visit or for general information purposes. I purchased a theme from [login to view URL] and it was a motor vehicle selling database. It has everything I require. I want a great, easy user experience of searching results through a drop-down menu Purposes To help viewers in my country to find a location based on different key industry categories (such as hospitals, schools, clinic and hotels). Each listing is a region which could be either counties, towns or wildlife reserves. On the home page, I have a drop-down menu of each category I want to provide data for. Menu architecture I have set up a menu of selected item and sub items that are on my home page and have several categories that are industry-based such as "Schools", "Hospitals" and "Clinics". In each category, there are sub categories and a second level of subcategories. The important stage is during listing because if I want to enter two locations (say a Primary schools called WAPI PRIMARY SCHOOOL in BBB county and TEGA PRIMARYS SCHOOL in DDD county), I have to mandatorily enter certain data in the provided listing fields such as categories and subcategories, town and a few other details. Other pieces of data entered are optional. Example Ify country has 5 regions (provinces or counties - AAA,BBB,CCC,DDD and EEE) and also has towns in these regions (say in county A, there are two towns GG and HH while in BBB we have one town KK). Can your freelance team do the following? 1. Drop down to indicate regions used only For example, to access WAPI PRIMARY SCHOOL of BB county and TEGA PRIMARY SCHOOL of DD county, current, I only need to go to my home page schools, private, Kenyan system, primary and click to get a result My request I want to go to my homepage, schools, private, kenyan system, primary...and then it automatically adds a drop-down menu option of the only two counties as above "BBB" and "DDD". In other words, if I have four listings in one category and subcategory, the drop-down menu should include this option of four counties names that listings relate to and should not show those counties without listings 2. Listing fields - mandatory and optional fields The listing has less than eight data fields to enter. I am not satisfied. I want more options to enter so that I will have more options in my drop-downs Request I would like to increase existing data fields for data entry for better search result experience in the first instance. The intention: a user does not have to go to the result page with vagueness because the drop-down options per category will be so detailed that one can pre-select and narrow down result expectations Basically, more data narrows down search results 3. "Back to top" A button appears on the home page and results pages Request I am looking for a better 2-D or ,even 3D-like button that you cannot miss as a user so that if you are far down in any page, ease of heading up exists 4. Result page look and presenation When I search for results, the website will give me the grid option with details of each listing. Request There are some entered data fields I would like to appear and others I do not wish to appear. What plugins does Wordpress have (paid or free) that can help to secure a better Grid listing (2D or 3D perhaps) during search results? What are better looking presentations? 5. Website download speeds My website will be very heavy because of data and images. Request Are there plugins or options available to increase download speed? 6.
