Looking for a simple solution (MS Access / PHP or similar) for production control with bar code readers

I have a furniture business and I need a kind of simple software to control the dispatch process... All the parts of a project has a bar code on it but during the packaging stage we need to "scan" all of these codes to make sure we are packing all components of the project. A part of that, we also need to convert pieces into volume so this program should do the following tasks: 1 - Import the .xml file with all the parts list and dimensions of each part; 2 - Create a "new project" with the imported data; 3 - During the packing process, the system should read each of the barcodes (BLE reader) of the parts and mark as "packed" to make sure no parts were left behind; 4 - While reading the parts the system will create a volume list, this means that for example I will read 10 barcodes and will click in a button and the system will generate a new volume with the total weight and volume of the 10 pieces and will print a label with the volume code. The volume calculation will be based on the dimensions that are in the .xml file and the material density that will be a parameter of the system that we can modify if needed. 5 - The system should have a screen were it's possible to see the missing parts and packed parts so we are able to make sure the project is over (Fully packed or not and if not what are the missing parts). 6 - We need basic feature like, reports of projects status, parts per project, volumes per project showing packing date) This system can be done in any basic tools like MSAccess or a simple PHP small site. Even a good Excell would be ok if the person is good enough in VBA but I believe PHP or MSAcess would be better!
