There are several PDF files that show thermal gradient lines for a geothermal field. I want to interpret those thermal gradient lines into GPS coordinates (decimal format). Each PDF file represents a different depth. Each thermal gradient line in the file represents a temperature. The end product would be single a file that has four columns: Depth, Temperature, Latitude and Longitude. I think this can easily be done by placing these images into a GIS or google earth and tracing the lines. Then exporting the coordinates. Currently the only updates between them has been via a memory stick or local connect. Now the "powers that be" want the host to talk to the Clients and the Clients to talk to the Host. The information will be compiled into a simple data stream on the sending machine and will be unpacked on the receiving machine. With the following controls 1) Listview 2) Timer Do the following Every 2 seconds check the content of the file, check If each of its data does not exist in the table - log (Check Uniqueness using the EnrNo + DateTime in the text file)- If the data is uniqe copy the record into the DB Table called Log in the attached mdb file.
