We are seeking a skilled Shopify Web Developer and Webmaster for website configuration, ongoing content management, and customization of our Shopify e-commerce platform and 3rd party applications. This is an ongoing remote position suitable for a detail-oriented looking to establish a long term working relationship with our company. Project Overview: Our company specializes in the delivery of high-quality frozen meats to customers throughout England and Scotland. The selected candidate will be responsible for configuring and optimizing our e-commerce site to elevate our customer's online shopping experience, increase conversions improve site functionality, and update content on an ongoing basis after the initial configuration. Key Responsibilities: - Website Configuration & Customization: - Improve the user experience and functionality of our site. - Customize the Shopify Showcase theme with our branding and content. - Configure Shopify apps designed for affiliate tracking and management, sales attribution, referral incentives, and conversion optimization. - Conduct A/B tests for various site components, ensuring optimal functionality and ongoing improvement. - Product Management: - Manage product listings, pricing, sales, and integration with inventory and shipping systems. - Optimize the site to ensure an exceptional user experience, increase conversion rates, and improve SEO performance. - User Experience Enhancement: - Refine site navigation and on-site marketing features such as refer-a-friend, email sign ups, affiliate program. - Ensure mobile responsiveness and compatibility of content across devices and browsers. - Integration & Automation: - Seamlessly integrate and resolve functionalities with third-party applications. - Utilize AI for process automation where applicable. - Ongoing Site Maintenance and Support: - Continuously introduce new features and troubleshoot platform-related issues. - Monitor and track key performance metrics diligently. -Generate ideas to improve both user experience and internal ease of operation Skills and Qualifications: - Demonstrated expert level experience in Shopify store configuration, management, and conversion optimization. - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integration and configuration of Shopify applications. - Adept at responsive design using a mobile-first approach. - Expert level knowledge about Shopify's API and external integrations. - Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. - Excellent command of the English language. - Available to work within UK business hours. - Well-versed in e-commerce tools and industry best practices. -Dedication to using AI tools to increase efficiency, sales, and operations
