I'm looking for a coder for an Omok Game. The game will be played through a phpbb forum. Either through a pop-up or integrated into the layout frame. All of the graphics are already made, the games only need to be coded. Need basic knowledge on how to open illustrator file. Forum currency needs to be rewarded depending on the score. Needs some php/mysql nowledge. I need for the game not to be hackable. Please see detailed requirements/description ## Deliverables This is the wiki article I used to reference rules set forth in the Help screen: [login to view URL] Font Notes Omok!! Logo Font = Vanilla (included in pack) All other text, buttons, and help screen = Janda Manatee Solid (included in pack) Special Note: I left almost all of the text live and editable because I thought you might want to change some things like the countdown time/timer, rules in the help menu, etc. Please install Janda and Vanilla before opening and editing files. Sprites/Stones Animation Notes - The sprites/stones are each animated to bounce. I created the example gifs in Photoshop with 4 frames, each set on a .2 sec delay. I have included each frame in the gameboard file on the sprites layer. Note there are only 3 sprites: normal, squashed (smallest), and stretched (largest). I repeated the normal sprite in a frame in between the squashed and stretched states. I have also included the Photoshop files for each sprite. - The sprites are animated on each screen, including the game play and start screens. Start Screen Clickable Buttons Start: This button starts play and proceeds to the gameboard. Sprite Selector: The player can select the sprite to be used for themselves as well as the computer. They are not allowed to select two of the same sprites. The up and down arrows scroll through available sprites/stones. Gameplay Notes The player selects their sprite/stone set and hits start to begin play. Gameboard Screen Clickable Buttons Help: Clicking this button PAUSES PLAY and launches a pop-up box that gives tips on how to play the game. The Close button on the bottom of the Help box closes the Help box and returns the player to the game screen, resuming play and restarting the countdown clock. Music On/Off: Turns the music on and off. Gameplay Notes Countdown Clock: Each player has a certain amount of time to make their move. (I have marked it at 60 seconds just to have the place filled in the graphics file.) This amount of time is counted down at the bottom of the play area. It resets with every new turn. If a player fails to make a move, the player is notified by a pop-up that says so ('Time's Up!' GFX on Gameboard Layer), and has to click 'Continue'. After the player clicks Continue, the computer will move for the player at random and the turn will be over. Play resumes as normal. I thought this would be a good addition incase a player has to go afk for a moment. They may lose a turn, but they won't lose the entire game as the pop-up pauses play until they return to hit Continue. You can animate the sparkles if you want. Could be cool, could be too girly. I'll leave it up to you. Win/Lose/Rankings Screens Each of these pop-ups is centered on the entire game window and the actual gaming area is grayed out (see example jpgs). Both the Win and Lose screens have two buttons: 'Play Again' and 'Rankings'. Play Again: this button leads to the Start screen. The player may then pick new sprites and start a new game. Rankings: This shows the top 10(or whatever number you want to show) players. The 'Play Again' button on this screen loops back to the Start screen. Artwork Notes The backgrounds on the Gameboard and Start screen layers have been locked. I have stroked each with a 1pt red outline so you know where they are. On the Start screen there are also locked fruit elements that need to be unlocked before importing into Flash. There is a dot pattern overlay that should import with the file, as it was created in Illustrator. Please do not forget to take this element into Flash. I have taken jpg screen grabs of all major screens to show you what the final result should look like. Total Play Area: 915px x 500px Omok Grid Area: 430px Sprite/Stone Dimensions: 30px x 30px
